Born in Bulgaria, started listening to psy at the age of 8, he fell in love with this genre of music and since than has expanded his musical taste to the psychedelic trance, known in our days as Dark and Twisted Psytrance. Some time ago he started even playing around with music himself and is always experimenting with everything his sick, twisted mind can think of. He creates fast, twisted, psychotic psy mostly, althou he likes to experiment with any genre/style of music, depending on his mood.

Psytrance and Existence

Psytrance is something special, something more than just something to play at a party, or something to play when you're "consciousness is elevated". Of course it works great in both those occasions. But if thats all your using it for, thats all it will be.

If you really want an Experience, you need to go a little deeper. And its not that much harder than just dancing, dancing with the purpose of reaching higher states of being. It has been said that when you tax your body to the edge of exhaustion, its like meditation. Its like prayer, like actually COMMUNING with higher vibrational states of energy (for lack of a better term).

I know there are skeptics, you say hell with all this hippie new age crap. I can understand that the unknown, and the intangible are not easy concepts to just latch right onto. One needs to experience this firsthand, actually floating away with the music, dissolving the boundaries between yourself and the sonic ocean washing over you. Its like magic, indeed its the same thing that is termed "magic", same as "shamanism", same as all the tried-and-true mystical traditions around the world.

Psytrance can be seen as an amalgamation, a consolidation of all the ancient faiths, modernised and made available to whomever wants it. The rhythmic beat, between 7 and 14 repetitions per second, is perfect to stimulate Theta waves. According to modern neurology the Theta waves are the same waves they observe in metitation, prayer, mystical experience in general. This can be seen as the new Shamanism, with the dj or liveact, in place of the curandero, or brujo, or medicine man, on stage guiding the ritual dance. THe shaman's traditional role is to travel to the astral plane, or the Non-ORdinary Reality, and to bring back medicine, healing energy, arcane knowledge. TO go crazy, to lose oneself, and ultimately return with new perspectives. Because not everyone is ready to face the things the Shaman routinely interacts with.

Which of course, is none other than the shaman's own mind. Thats the real truth, behind all religion, all magic, all mysiticism, in actuality behind all REALITY ITSELF! If you believe that the sun is hot, then the sun will be hot. If you believe that the rock is talking, well then the rock is talking! Call it crazy, but you cant deny it. In order for something to be true, you have to believe that it is truth! As you can see its not easy to just STOP believing. If you want to see a purple sun, or orange grass, you have to really TRULY deep down in your SOUL believe it. Its not something you can just arbitrarily say, ok now the suns purple. Doesnt work that way, cuz you dont really believe it!

There is no such thing as absolute truth, there is no such thing as Always will be, there is no such thing as concrete reality. Even science is telling us this same thing. THe field of Quantum Physics, which deals with the actions and interactions of quantum particles (the stuff that makes up the stuff that makes up electrons which make up atoms which come together to make matter, which is everything) shows us that it is possible for a single particle to exist in 2 places at once, to disappear from our 4-dimensional observable reality completely and to reappear somewhere else, to teleport by transmitting its characteristics to another particle instantly. BAsically science has observed the fact that there can be no possible order at this level. And this level is universal, its everywhere, in us, in rocks, in the Sun. And thats not the strangest part.

The theory of Everything was Einstein's last effort, and was left unfinished when he died. During the late '70s and 80s, science moved toward a new theory, only a theory because our only proof so far is mathematical simulations of incomprehensible complexity. But these simulations, based on real observed occurances, point to the existence of higher dimensions. In order for the latest incarnation of String THeory to be correct, there must be *at least* 10 dimensions, including our spacial and temporal dimensions. Imagine a line stretching to infinity on either side, and theres 10 little tickmarks along that line, these are our 10 dimensions. According to Membrane Theory, which has sprouted from String Theory, there are infinite sets of 10 tickmarks in any direction! Infinite parallel universes, side by side with our own. This isn't science fiction any more! The more that is known, the more we can go back and see the proof in other aspects of science.

I know some may say this is so deep, so hard to grasp. But its not really, its just the idea of concrete here-and-now reality that gets in the way. We're so accustomed to thinking of a rock as a thick, hard solid object we forget that its made of atoms too. Atoms have nuclei, around which is a cloud of electrons, bouncing in and out of probability. We can never say there are exactly 2 electrons around every helium atom, because sometimes theres 5, sometimes only 1. And thats only Probability, the percent chance that at any given moment there are x number of electrons. But there is space between the electrons and the nucleus. So it can be observed, that a solid, is not truly solid but merely vibrating very slowly. If we could change the vibrations of the particles in our arm, for example, we may be able to physically reach into the rock itself without touching it, moving between the particles.

You may wonder what all this has to do with psychedelic trance music and dancing. But when you think about this, neurology, quantum physics, astrophysics, and mystical tradition all are pointing the same direction: THat its up to us, to create our reality. Its up to us to choose which path we take through existence. THat the most powerful tool we posess is the mind itself, which can literally move beyond this 4 dimensional reality and experience firsthand what goes on in higher dimensional space and other universes.

This is what can happen if you want it to. If you have the skeptics mind coming into it, and the drive to disprove it, you'll only find what you want, which of course will be NOTHING! If you want to reach higher states, you WILL. Its that simple, despite the fact that there is infinitely complex science behind it. THats the real magic, that our MIND ITSELF can literally manipulate the highest order of science known, where nothing else even comes close! And not only that, its effortless. It requires no thought, no preparation, nothing at all but the will to DO. Thats it. Like Yoda said, There is no try. To try is to admit the possibility of failure. DO or DO NOT.

Trance is just one of who knows how many (theyre still being invented) methods of consciousness elevation. Despite what some may believe it does not require drugs. In fact drugs can get in the way. When we dance with others, that moment when the dancefloor is just goin OFF, we share our energies mutually, like a circuit, or an engine pumping our vibrations, sending them through everyone, sending them out in all directions through all dimensions. The more dancers, the more intense the energy, the longer we all can dance, the higher we all get! We reach a level of communion with one another that is unheard of in our paranoid isolationist consumer society. We transcend the need to distinguish between man, woman, Asian, Arab, Jew, Latino, Black, Caucasian, rich, poor, cool, uncool, wrong, right, good, evil. The boundaries disappear, because we see, that they were all in our heads to begin with!

This is true freedom, and as a result, it makes those who have interests in keeping us in servitude nervous. THis is why you have demonization of psychedelics. In the late 60's they, whoever "they" are, were scared out of their minds! They saw an alarming amount of truly happy people, happy in ways that no car or pair of shoes or Gucci dress could ever touch. And they saw how fragile their own foundations truly were, based on acceptance and conformity, which of course are completely contrived. So they did what they thought would best preserve their way of life. They banned all the psychedelics in one fell swoop, and now we have good people rotting in prison while cheating lying thieves run the country. But the fact remains that although the house has been remodeled the foundation is still just as weak. And they're still just as afraid!!

Fear drove the police in Utah to raid a party with full paramilitary regalia, M-4s, dogs, choppers, and those damn zip-tie handcuffs. Fear drove the police to launch teargas at protesters in Seattle on November 30, 1999. Fear drove them to send 150,000 soldiers to Iraq. Fear drove them to attack Afghanistan. Fear drives this nation's actions, like a wounded wolf pursued by hunters, it is desperate and irrational.

Theres only one true surefire way to defeat fear. Love. So it can be said that Love is the enemy of the fearful. If you can love the thing you fear you can conquer it in your mind. Which is the only place it truly exists anyway.

Fear of each other is the only thing that keeps us isolated, locked up in our giant cars, absorbed in the television's 900 channels. Fed by stories of gang shootings, drug addicted muggers, soaring crime rates, new kinds of deadly diseases, all serve only to feed the collective paranoia of our nation. Think about it, though, if we werent all afraid of each other, who could stop us? There's only around a million members of the Armed Forces, and nearly 300 million citizens. It goes to show that they truly are scared of us! They know that if we wanted to, we could overthrow their rule, and it wouldnt be too hard. THey have training and weapons, which they keep secret, out of fear, but when they have no will to fight, when they face their own neighbors and classmates, what do you think's gonna happen?

The future is going to be amazing. THis stagnant ideology held by the "majority" will crumble as all such stalwart ideologies do. We must be patient. In Aesop's fable, the Oak and the Rush, the Oak boasts to the Rush it can withstand any wind, while the frail Rush is so thin and floppy it cant possibly last long. So they ask the WInd to help them settle their argument. It blows and blows, and the Oak stands more and more solid. It blows as hard as it can, the oak resists but, with a great ripping sound, is toppled. The rush is still standing, having bent with the wind, flopped with it, rather than resisting. Change is the only constant, and those who resist are toppled and left to rot.

See others as brothers and sisters, rather than threats. Extend your love to cover the world. Dont fear, for its only yourself you are afraid of. The world is full of so much more than this! Its all around us, even now! We can't shut ourselves away from it. Its only selfishness that drives us to lock ourselves in. We can be a truly amazing species, and its only a step away, no matter where we are. Its up to YOU, no one can do it for you or to you.

All you need is love.
